Severe storms are possible in parts of Mississippi late this afternoon and overnight. According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, the primary threats are for damaging wind gusts and hail up to the size of a half dollar. Northern Mississippi
It will be mostly cloudy today with afternoon showers and thunderstorms and highs in the lower 80s. Expect more showers and thunderstorms tonight, with lows in the lower 60s.
Central Mississippi
Today will be partly sunny with showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid-80s. Showers and thunderstorms will continue tonight, with lows in the mid-60s.
Southern Mississippi
It will be partly sunny today with possible showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the lower to mid-80s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the mid-60s.
