Southern Mississippi
It will be mostly sunny with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Showers and thunderstorms are likely tonight, with locally heavy rainfall possible. Lows will be in the mid-60s.
According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, strong to marginally severe storms capable of producing hail and damaging winds are possible in Mississippi this afternoon. The storms will dissipate tonight.
