The Jackson Coffee Festival is running it back in Mississippi’s capital city for another round of freshly brewed fun.
After a successful debut in 2025, roasters from across the Magnolia State and beyond are gearing up to serve some of their most popular coffee products, while seasoned baristas host workshops that aim to display their talents and also educate audiences.
The coffee festival will be held Saturday inside the Trade Mart building within the state fairgrounds and will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Admission is $12 per person with tickets allowing a guest to sample products from more than a dozen vendors on-site and entry into various workshops.
“We are a one-day event,” Jackson Coffee Festival co-founder Jim Currie said. “Plan to spend an hour to two hours with us because, once you get in and start having fun, you tend to find that it’s pretty sticky. You want to stick around. We’ve got great coffee companies from all over the state [and beyond].”

Guests will have plenty of opportunities to indulge in some of their favorite offerings, including coffees with which they’re quite familiar. But Currie encourages those in attendance to step away from the status quo and try something they have yet to build the courage to consume.
“I think the exploration that we want to encourage is to get way out of your comfort zone,” he said. “Try something whacky or different or unusual.”
