One individual is injured following an officer-involved shooting in Corinth.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation reports that the incident occurred at a residence on W. Harris Circle on Friday, where Corinth police responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers report that they attempted to detain the subject at the scene, but the subject allegedly resisted and discharged a weapon at law enforcement. Officers responded with gunfire, striking the unidentified individual.
Officials say the subject was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition. No officers suffered any serious physical injuries.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is currently assessing the incident and will share its findings with the Attorney General’s Office.
