A Gulfport woman is behind bars after authorities say she engaged in an unnatural sex act with a dog and possessed child pornography.
The Gulfport Police Department announced Friday the arrest of Micheryl Jacuise Evette Thomas, 29. According to GPD, officers responded at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday to a call for service “regarding a complaint in which Thomas stated she wanted to turn herself in for crimes involving her dog.”
During the investigation, detectives determined Thomas had engaged in acts with the dog that resulted in a charge of unnatural intercourse. She was also charged with possession of child pornography.
Detectives examined Thomas’ cellphone and said they discovered evidence that she had been involved in an online relationship with a juvenile girl. Investigators allege Thomas obtained sexually explicit photos and videos of the juvenile and distributed them to other individuals.
Thomas was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and is being held on a $200,000 bond.
