Authorities are searching for an escaped parolee.
The Mississippi Department of Corrections and local law enforcement are on the lookout for 38-year-old Branden Young, who is reported to have escaped the Madison County Work Center Sunday morning. Officials did not say how he escaped.
Young, according to authorities, is on parole for felony DUI. Officials added that he was assigned to the technical violation center in Madison County earlier in September for violating his parole terms.
The escaped parolee now faces an escape charge. He is reported to have fled the technical violation center in a white t-shirt and orange shorts. He was last seen running toward Highway 51.
