Who you gon’ call? Gho – Hopefully, the Mississippi lottery headquarters to cash in.
State lottery officials announced a new slate of games for October, including a $5 “Ghostbusters” scratch-off.
The game will be available on retailer shelves beginning Oct. 6 and will feature artwork and characters from the movie franchise, including the iconic Ghostbusters logo and Ecto-1 car, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and Slimer.
“Get into the Halloween spirit with Ghostbusters, a $5 game with a top prize of $100,000 and multiple ways to win, including an instant-win Star, a 5X symbol, and a Bonus Spot. These festive tickets feature four scenes from the haunted Hollywood classic film,” a press release from the Mississippi Lottery Corporation said.
For those who don’t win on the Ghostbusters game, lottery officials are offering a second-chance promotion that allows players to enter non-winning tickets for a chance to win one of 13 prizes: one $10,000 prize, six $5,000 prizes, and six $1,000 prizes.
Joining Ghostbusters on the shelves this October will be two more new games:
- Tic Tac Multiplier: This $2 game puts a cash twist on a classic game. Players can win by scratching off three Xs or Os in a row, column or diagonal, then multiply their prize with the multiplier bonus. Prizes go up to $20,000.
- Six Figures: This $20 game can turn into a $100,000 win. Players can multiply their winnings with a multiplier for each row, giving them an extra chance to boost their prize.
Like the Ghostbusters game, Tic Tac Multiplier and Six Figures will both be available for purchase beginning Oct. 6.
