“America’s Largest Block Party” is in full swing on the coast.
Cruisin’ the Coast is back for its 30th edition and is running through Oct. 11. The week-long event features an array of vintage cars, live music, and more across the Mississippi coast.
Where is Cruisin’ the Coast?
Cruisin’ the Coast hosts a wide variety and amount of cars and people each year, meaning they need ample space. Luckily, there are eight sights for visitors to look at all types of vintage cars. Those locations include:
- Cruise Central/Registration Tent: Jones Park – 2250 Jones Park Dr., Gulfport, MS – at the intersection of Hwy. 49 and Hwy. 90
- Mississippi Coast Coliseum
- D’Iberville at Auto Mall Parkway/Civic Center
- Ocean Springs downtown area
- Edgewater Mall parking area on the west side of the Mall
- Pass Christian downtown area
- Bay St. Louis downtown area
- Pascagoula Beach Park
What is there to do?
Each of the eight locations will have live music, food and drink vendors, merchandise, and, of course, cars. At each location, live music runs from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Additionally, at the end of each night, various casinos across the coast will host after-hours entertainment, offering food and drinks to guests. Specific details on each location with timestamps can be found here.
How much does Cruisin’ the Coast cost?
While folks whose cars will be on site must pay to register their vehicles for the event, guests can roam around without paying a dime at Cruisin’ the Coast. However, some extracurricular events may come with a price tag.
