Let the fax machine’s day in the sun commence, as Mississippi State will make it official on their class of 2021. I’ll be updating here throughout the day as the letters of intent roll in.

TRE’VON MARSHALL

First Dawg of the day. Welcome to the family Tre’von Marshall‼️

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Marshall was one of the earliest commitments to Mike Leach, joining the class at the end of July. Not the most impressive offer sheet in the group, he is a player that the staff projects to move inside to defensive tackle and take advantage of his great athleticism.

NIC MITCHELL

A former Temple commitment, Mitchell also picked Mississippi State over offers from Maryland and Southern Mississippi. Mitchell enjoyed a tremendous senior campaign, with 97 tackles including 17.5 for loss and 8.5 sacks.

TIMAR ROGERS

An explosive LB out of Deland, Fla., welcome to #StarkVegas, Timar Rogers.

Rogers was another early commitment for Mike Leach, joining MSU’s class in early July. A big linebacker out of Deland, FL, Rogers picked MSU over offers from Auburn, Boston College, and Indiana. He racked up 41 tackles as a senior, including 8 sacks.

RANDY CHARLTON

A 6'4, 250 pound defensive lineman is now a 𝗗𝗔𝗪𝗚 😤 – Randy Charlton

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Charlton is a transfer addition to the class, coming over from Central Florida. He put up good numbers for the Golden Knights, with 12.5 career sacks. As a high school player, he picked UCF over offers from Mississippi State, Oregon, Tennessee, and Michigan State.

JACOBI MOORE

The first WR of the class is in. Welcome home, Jacobi Moore.

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Moore is the first of the four receivers Mississippi State is expected to sign today to make it official. His senior season was cut short by a meniscus injury, but he still piled up 43 catches for over 800 yards. He picked the Bulldogs over Ole Miss, Auburn, and Oregon.

GABE CAVAZOS

The offensive lines newest addition, welcome to the family, Gabe Cavazos Jr.

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Cavazos was a recruiter’s dream, as he received his MSU offer on July 29 and was committed on August 5. One of the top rated offensive linemen in the State, he also had offers from Memphis and Arkansas State.

JOHN LEWIS

From #SipToState. This 4⃣-⭐️ LB from Germantown is staying home‼️ – John Lewis

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Lewis had a meteoric rise in recruiting, going from an unknown prospect to the state’s top rated defensive player over the course of this season. He picked the Bulldogs over Ole Miss and Florida State.

TEDDY KNOX

The #AirRaid is adding one of the nation's top receivers ⚡️ – Teddy Knox

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

They say speed kills, and Knox is one of the fastest receivers in high school football. A four star recruit out of The Woodlands, TX, Knox picked MSU over offers from Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas. Timed at 4.42 in the 40 yard dash, he will add some much needed firepower to Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense.

CARSON WILLIAMS

A big addition to the trenches out of Forest, Mississippi. – Carson Williams

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Williams is the first junior college signee to make it official with Mississippi State today. A 6’4″ 290 pound athlete out of Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College, he picked the Bulldogs over offers from East Carolina and Western Kentucky.

CANON BOONE

Lone Star State lineman is headed to #StarkVegas – Canon Boone

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Boone was a target Mississippi State pursued even after he committed to Virginia Tech, and their persistence paid off. A 6’4″ 290 pound offensive tackle, Boone also picked up offers from Colorado and Arizona.

DANIEL GREEK

The #AirRaid adds a 𝗕𝗜𝗚 QB | 6'4, 220 – Daniel Greek

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

One of two quarterbacks Mississippi State expects to sign today, Greek comes to Starkville from Argyle, TX. A career 60% passer, Greek picked the Bulldogs over offers from Duke and Georgia Tech.

DESHAWN PAGE

Top five JUCO inside linebacker, DeShawn Page, is now a Bulldog!

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

One of the nation’s top junior college linebackers, Page flipped from Texas Tech to Mississippi State in October. As a first year player at East Mississippi CC, he piled up 36 tackles and 3 sacks. Page also had offers from Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Washington State.

SAWYER ROBERTSON

Ranks among the top 15 all-time in Texas high school football history in career completions, touchdown passes and passing yards. Glad to have Sawyer Robertson in the #AirRaid‼️

⏩ https://t.co/RR7cGGiS7y#HailState🐶 | @SawRobertson12 pic.twitter.com/AhABSM7Tyl

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

The highest rated pro-style quarterback Mississippi State has ever signed, Robertson has produced eye popping numbers during his time at Coronado High School in Lubbock, TX. Throwing for 11000 yards as a four year starter, Robertson picked MSU over offers from Texas, Southern Cal, and Florida State.

ALBERT REESE

From Canada to Mississippi State. This 6'7, 315-pound offensive lineman is officially a Bulldog‼️ – Albert Reese IV

⏩ https://t.co/Tss42k0w1Y#HailState🐶 | @AlbertReese15 pic.twitter.com/tgQflrwyGA

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Mississippi State really focused on taking offensive tackles in this class, and Reese might be the biggest of them all. Measuring in at 6’7″ and 315 pounds, Reese flipped his commitment to the Bulldogs from Rutgers earlier this month. He also had offers from Ole Miss, Michigan State, and Arizona State.

COREY ELLINGTON

A long, athletic defensive back has decided to go #SipToState! – Corey Ellington

⏩ https://t.co/nAa0buxJ1D#HailState🐶 | @ellington_corey pic.twitter.com/nS6JK7P6ff

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Ellington was locked into Mississippi State’s class from the time he committed in May. Likely a safety in college, Ellington selected MSU over offers from Arkansas, Indiana, and Southern Miss.

NICK JONES

Jones flipped from Southern Mississippi to Mississippi State in September. He added an Oklahoma State offer later in the process, but remained solid with the Bulldogs throughout.

SIMEON PRICE

From the Sunshine State to The Sip. Welcome home, Simeon Price.

⏩ https://t.co/K8havH6YJG#HailState🐶 | @SimeonPrice2 pic.twitter.com/t41u0vdZNL

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Formerly a South Carolina commitment as a receiver, Price will be the lone running back signee for Mississippi State. Rated as the #38 athlete in the country, he also had offers from Arkansas and Ole Miss.

ANTONIO HARMON

A four-star prospect and one of the nation's top receivers is going #SipToState – Antonio Harmon

⏩ https://t.co/HDkdVt0TXz#HailState🐶 | @aharmon2021 pic.twitter.com/TiZpRdpS5l

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

Harmon’s signing day addition helped soften the blow of losing two receiver commitments in the last few weeks, including Malik Nabers earlier today. A big target at 6’4″, Harmon picked the Bulldogs over offers from Ole Miss, Texas, and LSU.

RODARIUS THOMAS

From the court to the gridiron, the #AirRaid just added another versatile WR, Rara Thomas.

⏩ https://t.co/6x295QLSmh#HailState🐶 | @rodarius_thomas pic.twitter.com/bh4Vdy1g5v

— Mississippi State Football (@HailStateFB) December 16, 2020

A second former South Carolina commit, Thomas caught 100 passes in his two years as a starter for Eufala High School in Alabama. Thomas becomes the fifth wide receiver to sign on to play in Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense.
