A man wanted on child porn charges out of Arkansas was apprehended by law enforcement in central Mississippi.
On Monday, just after 8 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol received a “be on the lookout” alert for a subject wanted out of Crittenden County, Ark. According to a report from the Department of Public Safety, state troopers later observed a vehicle matching the description traveling southbound on I-55 in Canton.
Troopers initiated a traffic stop and took Brice Michael Kane, 68, into custody without incident. Kane had removed his ankle monitor and fled southbound. He is currently awaiting extradition back to the state where he is facing criminal charges.
