Bay High principal arrested for shoplifting three times at same Walmart

The principal at Bay High School is facing charges for shoplifting not once but three times at the same Walmart.

As reported by WLOX, Amy Yarbrough Necaise was arrested and charged with multiple counts of shoplifting. According to affidavits from the Waveland Police Department, Yarbrough left without paying on the following occasions:

  • August 1: $25.24 worth of merchandise
  • August 15: $51.25 worth of merchandise
  • August 20: $123.66 worth of merchandise

All the shoplifting incidents took place at the Walmart on Highway 90 in Waveland.

Necaise, who has served as Bay High principal since 2013, has not commented on her arrest. On Wednesday, the Bay St. Louis-Waveland School District posted a job opening for high school principal on its website. The salary for the position is $105,000.
