Bevy of Belhaven, Millsaps football players earn all-conference honors

A slew of players from both Belhaven and Millsaps earned honors from their respective Division III conferences as the 2025 regular season recently came to a close.

Starting with Belhaven, which plays in the USA South, 11 standouts were voted onto all-conference teams. Wyatt Beck led the way by notching his third first-team honor and being named USA South Defensive Player of the Year. The senior linebacker had a league-high 85 tackles, eight of which were for loss, and 2.5 sacks.

LB Tyler Miller (Second Team)

QB Brock Morris (Honorable Mention)
DB Luke Handy (All-Sportsmanship)

Millsaps (6-4), which plays in the Southern Athletic Association, saw 15 players voted onto all-conference teams. Freshman quarterback Grant Bizjack was named both to the second team and SAA Rookie of the Year after serving as the Majors’ top passer and rusher, compiling nearly 2,800 yards of total offense with 24 touchdowns.

With neither Belhaven nor Millsaps making the DIII playoffs, both teams will gear toward offseason workouts. Per tradition, the two will take on each other in next season’s opening game with that date set to be announced soon.
