The Biloxi Shuckers are teaming up once again with Sparklight, a leading broadband provider and longtime sponsor of the team, to host Sparklight Night on Friday, Aug. 22, when the Shuckers face off against the Chattanooga Lookouts.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and attendees will be automatically entered to win Sparklight prizes. An Amazon Fire TV Stick will be awarded at the end of each inning exempting the seventh, while one lucky fan will take home an Eero Pro 6E device during the seventh inning stretch.
In addition to giveaways, Sparklight will have a promotional booth inside the stadium, where guests can pick up free items and learn more about the company’s services — including its limited-time $29.95 Gig internet promotion and Lift Internet program, which offers affordable options for individuals receiving federal assistance.
The evening will also feature a ceremonial first pitch from a Sparklight representative and a live, in-game radio interview with George King, Sparklight’s regional marketing director for the Gulf Coast. King will highlight the company’s high-speed internet service, its Charitable Giving Fund, and community initiatives such as a recent bed-building project with Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Jackson County.
“Sparklight is honored to continue our partnership with the Shuckers and to be part of the incredible community spirit here in Biloxi,” King said. “Sparklight Night at the Shuckers is a highlight of our year — and a chance to join together with our community friends to root for our favorite team.”
The Shuckers echoed the importance of the partnership.
“The Shuckers are grateful for Sparklight’s unwavering support and the many ways they give back to the Gulf Coast,” Biloxi Shuckers general manager Hunter Reed said. “Sparklight Night has become a great tradition at our ballpark, and their sponsorship helps us provide an exciting fan experience while strengthening the community beyond the field.”
The Shuckers-Lookouts game begins at 6:35 p.m. Tickets are available here.
