An 18-wheeler carrying thousands of pounds of candy bars took a bittersweet route when overturning along a Mississippi interstate.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation confirmed that the crash occurred Monday afternoon on the entrance ramp of the Highway 80 exit approaching Interstate 20 East in Brandon.
Officials at the scene confirmed to WLBT that the truck was transporting roughly 11,000 pounds of KitKat bars.
Authorities believe the semi-truck’s tractor disconnected from the cab and rolled onto the opposite interstate ramp.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
