Natchez High School and Natchez Early College were shut down as the Natchez-Adams School District initiated its bomb threat protocols early this morning after being notified of the threat.

Buses were dispatched to pick up the students that were already on campus.

“The Natchez-Adams School District is actively working with the Adams County Sheriffs Department, the Natchez Police Department, and The Department of Homeland Security to track the threat’s origin and perpetrator(s),” a statement posted to social media reads.

This story will be updated as new information becomes available.
