Authorities in Jones County are assessing an accident involving a school bus and a log truck.
The crash happened along Highway 84 at the intersection of Magnolia Road on Thursday morning.
Local law enforcement officials report that the bus was hauling eight students to East Jones Elementary School at the time of the collision.
Both vehicles sustained sideswipe damage as a result of the accident. No injuries were reported.
