Mississippi’s 37th annual Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest is set to take off in Canton on Thursday, June 30, including fun events for attendees of all ages.
Free events featuring over 20 hot air balloons, live music, fireworks, and more will be held at various locations across Central Mississippi until Sunday.

Thursday, June 30
- 6:00 p.m. | Launch Party on the Historic Courthouse Square in Canton
Friday, July 1
- 6 a.m. | Competition Flight at the Canton Multipurpose Center
- 6 p.m. | DJ Trix at Northpark Mall
- 7:30 p.m. | Luckenbach (Willie Nelson Tribute Band)
- 8:00 p.m. | Balloon Glow
- 9:30 p.m. | Dr. Zarr and the Amazing Funk Monsters
- Fireworks with Patriotic Music featuring Temperance Babcock
Saturday, July 2
- 7:00 a.m. | Balloon Chase Bike Ride (6 a.m. Registration) & Competition Flight at the Canton Multipurpose Center
- 5:00 p.m. | Mississippi’s Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest at the Canton Multipurpose Center
- 6:30 p.m. | Balloon Chase Run/Walk & Kids One Mile Fun Run (5:30 p.m. Registration)
