Legendary rock band Chicago will celebrate six decades of chart-topping hits with three Mississippi performances.
As part of its 60th anniversary tour, Chicago will perform twice in Biloxi, then head to the Mississippi Delta for a concert in Cleveland. The shows on the Mississippi Gulf Coast will take place at the Beau Rivage Theater on March 27 and 28, while the performance in the Delta will occur at the Bologna Performing Arts Center on March 30.
“2027 marks the 60th consecutive year Chicago has toured, never missing a year! We are excited to celebrate this tremendous milestone with our beloved fans, who have made this achievement possible,” the band stated.
Self-described as a “rock and roll band with horns,” Chicago was formed in 1967 and is best known for songs “Saturday in the Park,” “You’re the Inspiration,” and “25 or 6 to 4.” With more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and multiple Grammy Awards to their name, Chicago remains one of the most celebrated and enduring bands in music history.
Rolling Stone magazine hailed the group as one of the “most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era,” while Billboard ranked Chicago as the highest-charting American band in its Top 125 Artists of All Time.
Tickets to the upcoming Mississippi shows are not yet on sale.
