CPR Fest returns to Biloxi this Saturday

The 21st annual CPR Fest in Biloxi kicks off this Saturday at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, with this year’s event set to include indoor and outdoor lineups.

Gates for the music festival, which is presented by SuperTalk Mississippi Media’s 97.9 WCPR, are set to open at noon on Saturday, May 6, with Code for Canvas scheduled to begin the lineup for the outdoor stage. Additional outdoor musical performances will include Love the Hate, Des Rocs, The Violent, Crobot, Saliva, and Ayron Jones.

After the lineup for the outdoor stage ends, attendees will be invited to travel inside the arena for three featured appearances from Another Day Dawns, Bush, and Breaking Benjamin.

Pennsylvania band Another Day Dawns, which identifies as a “high-energy hard rock band,” has opened for other notable bands including Fuel, Avatar, Sammy Hagar, Godsmack, Puddle of Mudd, Bad Flower, Trapt, Breaking Ben, 5 Finger Deathpunch, Daughtry, and BuckCherry. The band has also been named one of five finalists in the national NeXt2rock competition.

Bush, an English band, found immediate success outside the UK with their debut album, “Sixteen Stone,” which has been certified as multi-platinum six times by the RIAA. Bush also has multiple top 10 singles on the Billboard rock charts, as well as a No. 1 album in “Razorblade Suitcase.”

Since bursting onto the rock scene in 2002, Breaking Benjamin has amassed 10 No. 1 hits, including their most recent song, “Far Away.” Other popular hits include “The Diary of Jane,” “I Will Not Bow,” and “Breath.”

Here’s the entire schedule for Saturday’s music festival:

  • 12:30 p.m. – Code For Canvas
  • 1:10 p.m. – Love The Hate
  • 1:50 p.m. – Des Rocs
  • 2:40 p.m. – The Violent
  • 3:30 p.m. – Crobot
  • 4:20 p.m. – Saliva
  • 5:20 p.m. – Ayron Jones
  • 7:00 p.m. – Another Day Dawns
  • 7:30 p.m. – Bush
  • 9:20 p.m. – Breaking Benjamin

Lawn chairs will not be allowed in the arena, but attendees will be able to exit the event to return chairs to their vehicles. This will require an exit scan on each ticket, so arena officials are advising all attendees to have their tickets present throughout the entire event.

Tickets for the 2023 CPR Fest can be bought online or at the coliseum’s box office.
