Grammy-winning American rock band Creed will be coming to the Brandon Amphitheater as part of their upcoming reunion tour.

The “Summer of ’99 Tour” will make 40 stops beginning in July. Their lone Mississippi performance will be on Monday, Sept. 16.

The tour will feature special guest performances from Mississippi-based band 3 Doors Down, with additional appearances from Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic, and Big Wreck scheduled for select dates. For the Brandon show, Finger Eleven is set to be the opening act before Daughtry takes the stage.

Creed formed in Tallahassee, Fla., in 1994 before releasing hit songs “Higher,” “My Sacrifice,” “One Last Breath,” “With Arms Wide Open,” and “My Own Prison.”

Nearly 30 years after Creed’s formation, songs composed by singer Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti have been performed alongside drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall for millions of fans around the world, aiding in the creation of modern rock and alternative’s DNA.

With more than 53 million albums sold worldwide, Creed stands alongside iconic bands like Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, and Metallica as one of few hard rock outfits to earn RIAA Diamond-certified status, for more than 11 million sales of Human Clay in the United States.

After an 11-year hiatus, Creed announced in July that they would be getting back together for two different cruise festivals in April 2024. On Monday, they announced the full reunion tour, which is set to go through Sept. 28.

Tickets will be available starting with presales on Tuesday, Oct. 31, with the general sales beginning Friday, Nov. 3 at 10:00 a.m. on their website.
