The woman who allegedly robbed a Dollar General in Gulfport was caught by police when returning to the scene to get her cell phone.
According to the Gulfport Police Department, officers responded to the discount store on Dedeaux Road on Sunday around 9:30 p.m. after reports of a robbery. When investigating, a woman by the name of Jessinya Faye Ezell walked in and asked if they had seen a missing a phone.

Employees quickly identified Ezell, 34, as the person who had, shortly beforehand, entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. She then got into a physical fight with an employee before fleeing the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
GPD officers arrested Ezell and charged her with one count of armed robbery. She is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
