After consecutive playoff seasons, Jamey DuBose is leaving his post as the head football coach at Biloxi High School.
DuBose resigned Monday, according to school officials. He compiled an overall record of 8-14 but won enough district games in each of his two seasons to land the Indians in the MHSAA 7A state playoffs. Both trips ended in round-one losses to Oak Grove.
DuBose was brought to Biloxi from Orange Beach High School (AL) in December 2023. He’s been a head coach for 20 years and has a 174-69 career mark. He won a pair of state championships when he was with Prattville High School (AL) from 2008-11 and another with Central Phenix City (AL) in 2018.
Other stops for DuBose include Florence High School (AL), Susan Moore High School (AL), and Lowndes High School (GA).
Within a day of turning in his letter of resignation at Biloxi, DuBose was announced as the head coach at Bainbridge High School in southwest Georgia.
