Escaped Madison County parolee in custody

Authorities have found and captured an escaped parolee.

The Mississippi Department of Corrections and local law enforcement took 38-year-old Branden Young into custody after he escaped from the Madison County Work Center Sunday morning. Officials have not yet said how he escaped.

According to authorities, Young is on parole for felony DUI. Officials added that he was assigned to the technical violation center in Madison County earlier in September for violating his parole terms.

The escaped parolee will now face an escape charge. He reportedly fled the technical violation center wearing a white T-shirt and orange shorts. He was last seen running toward Highway 51 on Sunday before being captured on Monday.
