Get ready to grab your popcorn, Ole Miss fans. ESPN’s Ryan McKee announced Wednesday that E60, the sports network’s investigative series, will be airing an episode centered on Rebel frontman Lane Kiffin’s complicated journey as a football coach.
The episode, titled “The Many Lives of Lane Kiffin,” will give spectators a closer look at the Ole Miss coach’s past stops in football. From his time as a one-year rental with the Oakland Raiders to collegiate stops at Tennessee, USC, and Alabama, the show will feature Kiffin recounting his good, bad, and ugly experiences at each stop — all of which dominated the headlines and water-cooler conversations at some point or another.
“From social media trolling to very public firings — everyone has an opinion on Lane Kiffin,” McGee wrote on X. “He’s got one, too.”

Viewers will get a bird’s-eye view of Kiffin’s ascension as one of the youngest coaches to earn high-level jobs, along with moments that led up to his firing at multiple stops, and the commentary that followed. Kiffin, one of the most renowned figures in the football world, once garnered a negative reputation but has since worked to reverse the narrative, and the episode will document what he’s done to better his image.
ESPN will air the episode on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m. CT, three days ahead of Ole Miss’ revenge matchup against bitter archrival LSU. The Rebels (1-0) currently sit at No. 20 in the latest AP poll.
