The FBI is investigating a shooting that occurred along the Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi.
A husband and wife both received injuries from the same bullet, per a report from WLBT. Law enforcement did not confirm the injuries but did say shots were fired Sunday evening from the national parkway into the city limits of Clinton near mile marker 87.
The local TV station spoke to a neighbor of the victims. He said the husband was shot in the face and is suffering from non-life-threatening injuries while the wife was grazed by the bullet.
Identities of the victims have not been released at this time, nor has any information on possible leads in the investigation.
