The Federal Emergency Management Agency, in concert with the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency and other local partners, continues to work to provide relief for survivors of the March 14-15 storms that decimated more than 20 counties across the state.
3,259 residents have been the beneficiaries of more than $8.2 million in relief funds.
Applications are still being accepted daily. MEMA officials are reminding those affected by the storms that they should apply for relief even if they are insured, as additional funds may be available.
Survivors can apply in person or access further resources at disaster recovery centers at the following locations:
Covington County:

Center hours run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Residents in approved counties who sustained losses during the severe weather can apply for FEMA assistance by using the FEMA App, going online to DisasterAssistance.gov, or calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.
Assistance is also still available for Mississippi nonprofits affected by the storms.
