A fire broke out Monday at the Chevron’s refinery in Pascagoula and injured four people.
A Chevron spokesperson told WLOX-TV that the blaze happened at the refinery’s wastewater treatment facility around 8:15 a.m.
Emergency personnel within the oil and gas company immediately provided medical care to four injured workers until ambulances arrived. Three of the four were transported to a local hospital, although the extent of their injuries is unknown.
The fire was put out by in-company firefighters with the cause under investigation.
