Nearly 20 businesses in Mississippi have been featured on Forbes’ recent list of “America’s Best Employers By State.”
Forbes’ list includes results from an anonymous survey taken by approximately 70,000 employees at companies in all 50 states that have a minimum of 500 workers.
The results selected the top companies that had the majority of workers state that they are extremely or very satisfied with their jobs, with the final tally totaling 17 employers in Mississippi alone.
In the survey, each employee was asked if they would recommend their employer to others, as well as to evaluate the company based on working conditions, diversity, compensation packages, potential for development, company image, and more.
Forbes added that a total of 1,392 organizations made at least one state list while 269 ranked in multiple states.
