The Shuckers continued an early-season habit of coming from behind, taking down the Columbus Clingstones 9-2 on Tuesday night behind a big performance from former Mississippi State star K.C. Hunt.
Hunt, who earned his second win of the season on the mound, punched out five across five innings of work. He allowed five hits and two runs while walking two.

Biloxi (11-11) fell behind early when an infield single from Geraldo Quintero brought home Ethan Workinger in the second for Columbus (8-14). Quintero struck again in the fourth with a solo home run, making it 2-0.
The Shuckers, however, fought back in the sixth after being held to one hit through five innings and took a 3-2 lead in the top of the sixth. Darrien Miller, Ramon Rodrigues, and Bladimir Restituyo recorded back-to-back-to-back RBI singles to flip the scoreboard. In the seventh, Luke Adams launched a three-run homer to make it 6-2. Three more insurance runs made for a 9-2 final score.
Biloxi has now won 10 of its last 14. The series against Columbus at Synovus Park will continue Wednesday at 6:05 p.m.
