A Mississippi pastor has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for molesting several underage boys.

Daniel Paul Harris, 44, worked at Olive Branch Christian Church when he committed sex crimes against teenagers while they were being tutored. The instances of molestation happened between 2015 to 2018, according to court documents.

According to the church’s website, Harris founded the Kaimen Center, which teaches art, academics, and athletics to children and adults with disabilities.

Harris was arrested in May 2023 and charged with two counts of sexual abuse, two counts of sexual battery, and one count of unnatural intercourse. During his sentencing, Harris was denied the possibility of parole and early release. He will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and cannot hold a position as an educator.
