A Georgia man has been taken into custody following what authorities are calling one of the largest drug busts in Pontotoc County’s history.

Police on Sunday arrested 42-year-old David Boykin after officers discovered and confiscated roughly 140 pounds of marijuana in the suspect’s vehicle.

The estimated street value of the large quantity of the illicit substance is believed to be worth between $250,000 to $300,000.
