An officer-involved pursuit in central Mississippi came to an end on Sunday with a suspect being captured behind a local hotel.
Raudreikus Tyrelle Penson was taken into custody in Canton following a brief foot pursuit. The subject is accused of abandoning a maroon Ford F-350 during a vehicle chase with officers. After hopping out of the vehicle and looking to evade with his feet, police caught Penson behind a Canton Econo Lodge.
He was transported to the Madison County Detention Center. Penson faces multiple charges, including felony eluding, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, improper tag, and careless driving.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Canton Police Department assisted Gluckstadt law enforcement in locating the suspect.
