After the Mississippi Legislature’s recent decision to remove the state flag and replace it with one that touts the four words “In God We Trust,” former governor Phil Bryant joined The Gallo Show to talk about why there is no motto more proper to be prominently featured on the state’s official banner.
Bryant, who was in office from 2012-2020, added the motto to both the state seal and the bicentennial flag during his tenure as governor.
