The spirit of the holiday season is arriving early at the Governor’s Mansion, with a heartwarming theme and an educational twist.
Governor Tate Reeves and First Lady Elee Reeves have announced that the 2025 “Christmas at the Mansion” will spotlight the “Season of Success” in Mississippi’s schools back in July, and as a nod to the meaningful progress made in classrooms statewide, two special field trip days have been scheduled to officially launch the festivities.
On Wednesday, December 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and again on Friday, December 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., students, educators, and homeschool groups are invited to join in the holiday magic.
“My wife and I are thrilled to shine a light on the many historic education achievements in our state this holiday season. The dedication of our teachers, parents, and students deserves recognition, and what better way to celebrate than with these Field Trip Days?” the governor remarked, as his better half added, “This holiday, we look forward to honoring those who have worked tirelessly — Mississippi’s students, parents, and educators. We can’t wait to celebrate with them!”
