With Christmas just around the corner, GRAMMY Museum Mississippi has announced plans to present the fifth annual “Have Yourself a Delta Little Christmas!”

The program, which is scheduled for Dec. 4 at 7 p.m., will be headlined by Delta artists Tricia Walker, Fish Michie, and the Buford Sisters. Walker’s songs have been recorded on GRAMMY- nominated discs by Kathy Troccoli, Debby Boone, the Imperials, Patty Loveless, Faith Hill, and Alison Krauss, whose performance of Walker’s “Looking in the Eyes of Love” earned a GRAMMY Award in 1997.

A holiday vocal ensemble including students from Coahoma Community College along with pianist Jim Trotter and singer Jan Brock will also take the stage before R&B sibling duo Variety provides entertainment at the post-program reception.

“We are so thrilled to again welcome Tricia Walker and the Buford Sisters back for this annual holiday program,” GRAMMY Museum Mississippi executive director Emily Havens said. “With a return performance by the talented vocal students from Coahoma Community College, and more incredible talented Delta musicians, it is sure to be a wonderful night of music and holiday celebration.”

Tickets for the event will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 23 for $100 apiece. All tickets include a pre-event reception beginning at 6 p.m. Proceeds from “Have Yourself a Delta Little Christmas!” will support the museum’s education mission.

“Have Yourself a Delta Little Christmas!” is presented by Earth Data Incorporation, Ray Funeral Home, and Regions and sponsored by Mitchell Distributing, SuperTalk Mississippi Media, and Visit Mississippi.
