The Heindl Center for the Performing Arts at Northwest Mississippi Community College has rounded out its show calendar for spring 2025 with some major acts set to take the stage in Senatobia.
The season kicks off Jan. 11 with comedian Brian Regan. Regan has released three Netflix specials and appeared on various comedic shows such as Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Up next, on Feb. 3, will be “The Addams Family Musical,” based on the gothic series following the quirky family of Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, and Pugsley.
Changing tunes a couple of weeks later, country music singer Lee Brice will bring hits like “Hard to Love” and “Love Like Crazy” to the Heindl Center. Staying with music for a little while longer, The Beach Boys will play on Feb. 22. The Grammy-nominated band is known for surf-style songs such as “Good Vibrations” and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” among others.
The curtains will then rise for “Mean Girls: The Musical” on March 17. Adapted from the cult classic Mean Girls, the on-stage adaptation of the film is aimed to reach a younger audience as it follows fan-favorite characters such as Regina George and Cady Heron.
Audiences can cruise back to Motown when the Commodores perform on April 26. Known for hits such as “Brick House” and “Easy,” this will be the group’s first stop in the Magnolia State since performing at Mississippi State University in June.
Wrapping up the spring season will be a May 3 sit-down with Priscilla Presley, the ex-wife of Elvis Presley who has gone on to enjoy an extensive career as a businesswoman, actress, and writer. She’s expected to talk about anything from her time married to the King of Rock and Roll to serving as an executive producer for the Priscilla biopic.
“We are so excited to continue to bring world-class entertainment to Senatobia this spring at the Heindl Center,” said, Dr. Blake Bostick, director of the 65,000-square-foot performing arts center. “We are delighted to bring these special memory-making evenings to Mississippi, and we look forward to welcoming our audience to continue to enjoy beautiful shows at the Heindl Center.”
