ICE’s Albence and U.S. Attorney Hurst discuss 2019 raids

It was one year ago when the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided Mississippi, detaining hundreds of illegal immigrants across seven, different locations.

Earlier today, U.S. Attorney Mike Hurst and ICE Director Matt Albence announced that over 400 American citizens’ identities were stolen or misused by the individuals taken into custody last August. They also released the names of four people who are appearing in court today for their arraignment after having major roles in the raids.

To hear Albence and Hurst talk about the investigations, prosecutions, and the status of the people affected by the 2019 raids, watch the interview below.
