A teenager has been taken into custody for a fatal stabbing in Jefferson County.
Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested an unidentified 13-year-old for the teen’s alleged involvement in the stabbing of 34-year-old Phillip Queen.
Authorities believe the incident took place on Sunday at a location on Green Acres Drive. Upon arrival at the scene, police found Queen deceased with multiple stab wounds.
The 13-year-old was charged with murder and was denied bond.
Law enforcement is continuing to investigate the fatal incident.
