The annual Red Brick Roads Music & Arts Festival is set to return to Clinton this weekend.
From March 27-29, Olde Towne Clinton will host the family-friendly event that promises a rich lineup of musical performances, artistic showcases, and several local culinary specialties. Mainstreet Clinton, the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Clinton are in charge of the festival.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Red Brick Roads back to the brick streets of Clinton—this time in the beautiful spring season,” City of Clinton Director of Communications Marlee Price shared. “This festival is more than just music, food, and craft beer; it’s a celebration of our community, bringing energy, culture, and connection to the heart of our city. We can’t wait to see the streets come alive once again with the sounds, flavors, and spirit that make Clinton so special!”
Some festival highlights include:
- Live music: Friday and Saturday night attendees can enjoy an incredible lineup of top regional artists and nationally acclaimed headliners, all to be seen performing under the open sky in the heart of Olde Towne Clinton.
- Arts: All eventgoers can immerse themselves and support talented, regional artists while taking part in interactive art experiences with the festival’s “Art in the Park” display, a free fun event that features the work of all the state’s local artists, and “Red Brick Roads Paint Out” event, hosted by renowned watercolor artist, Wyatt Waters.
- Food and Drinks: All guests can savor the event’s delicious offerings from various local food vendors, including Mississippi-style pizza from The Bank, sweet treats from Coach’s Creamery, and a community crawfish boil with T’Beaux’s cooking onsite. Plus, craft beer lovers have the opportunity to explore 20 unique brews and witness a local homebrew competition.
The event schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, March 27: the festival kicks off with a StoryFest, hosted by the Institute for Southern Storytelling. This event celebrates books, film, and culture, at 6:30 pm at the Entergy Theatre in the Gore Arts Complex.
- Friday, March 28: Mustache The Band will perform from 7-10 p.m., setting the stage for the weekend’s festivities.
- Saturday, March 29: The day features performances by The Akashic 45s, JT McCaffrey, Smokies, Josclyn & the Sweet Compression, and The Rumble. A special songwriter round with Clinton native, Don Poythress, along with Billy Montana and Brian White, will provide insights into the stories behind their songs.
