One person has been arrested after shooting and killing their brother inside a Magee hotel room.
According to WDAM, Magee police were called to a local hotel around 9:05 a.m. on Monday. Upon arriving, they found 19-year-old DeShun Williams dead.
During the investigation, DeShun’s brother, Robert, was taken in for questioning before admitting to the killing. He told officers that he was handling a firearm and discharged a single round that struck DeShun.
Robert was arrested and charged with manslaughter-culpable negligence.
