An attempted murder suspect was arrested outside a sandwich shop in Mississippi, according to local law enforcement.
The Magee Police Department responded to Newk’s Eatery on Sunday around 9:30 p.m. “in reference to a suspicious person near the dumpsters who was making strange statements to the staff.” After speaking with the individual in question, identified as Robert Graham, it was discovered he was wanted for attempted murder and burglary in Alabama.
After the warrant out of Semmes, Ala., was confirmed Graham was taken into custody without incident. He is now awaiting extradition.
“Thank you to the citizens who called,” Chief Denis J. Borges said. “Without their call, he could still be roaming our streets.”
