Matchbox Twenty is coming to the Brandon Amphitheater as part of its 30th anniversary tour.
The venue made the official announcement on Tuesday but teased it on Monday with a social media post. In the post, the amphitheater had alarm clocks on its two video boards that displayed 3:00 a.m. The caption read, “… must be lonely” — a direct reference to the rock band’s hit song, “3 AM.”
Matchbox Twenty and widely revered lead singer Rob Thomas, the architects behind hits like “Push,” “Real World,” and “Back 2 Good,” will take the main stage at the Brandon Amphitheater on Aug. 4, 2027. 1990s rock band O.A.R. will serve as the opener.
Tickets will be available for presale here on Oct. 20. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 23.
