Leaders with the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) are informing clients participating in two government aid programs about upcoming changes to its mobile app and user account.

Beginning Thursday, November 30, the myMDHS mobile app and user accounts will transition to an updated common web portal for those receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits.

Individuals with a myMDHS account are encouraged to set up a new account on the AccessMS website to continue managing their accounts. Officials say AccessMS provides a platform for managing benefits and submitting applications.

Clients of the two programs may upload supporting documents while submitting their applications through the new site or visit the MDHS website to upload documents by clicking “Document Upload.”
