MDRS observes National Disability Employment Awareness Month

This year marks the 75th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, which is always observed in October.

To learn a little more about NDEAM, Rebecca Turner of Good Things welcomed Chris Howard and Tiffany Parrish of the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services (MDRS) on to Monday’s show. They were also joined by Elliot, Connor, and Joshua of the Bird Dog Café in Laurel, who serve as a prime example of what all MDRS is doing to provide equal job opportunities to those who are disabled.
