A native of Mexico living in the United States illegally has been arrested after allegedly exposing himself to a minor while on a job site in Mississippi.
Monroe County Sheriff Kevin Crook reports that Concepcion Lopez Barahona, 52, was arrested by deputies on Thursday. Law enforcement authorities were notified by a concerned father on Wednesday that Barahona had committed indecent acts in front of his underage daughter.
The unidentified father told police that his daughter woke up to Barahona exposing himself, among other unspecified lewd actions, in the girl’s bedroom. According to the sheriff, Bahrahona was hired to do construction work in another part of the home for the family.
Officials with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reached out to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and determined that Barahona was in the nation illegally. He is currently being held behind bars in the Monroe County Detention Center on an immigration detainer and will be deported back to Mexico.
