Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s School of Nursing and Health Professions has earned national recognition.
The school, with campuses in Stone, Jackson, and Harrison counties, has been designated a 2025 Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing, an organization that brands itself as being dedicated to advancing excellence in nursing education. MGCCC is one of only 21 institutions nationwide, and the lone Mississippi institution, selected for the honor.
The formal recognition will take place during the National League for Nursing Honors Convocation at the 2025 NLN Education Summit in Orlando, Fla., on September 19. The designation serves to acknowledge MGCCC’s sustained excellence in enhancing student learning and professional development.
