Mike Tyson’s award-winning cannabis brand, Tyson 2.0, is coming to the Magnolia State in partnership with Mississippi-based company Southern Sky Brands.

Eligible residents across the state will soon be able to purchase Tyson’s “premium” eighths — which totals 3.5 grams — as well as one-gram pre-rolls of two specialty flavors for the first phase of the partnership rollout.

“We’re thrilled to bring Tyson 2.0’s exceptional cannabis products to Mississippi with Southern Sky Brands,” Adam Wilks, CEO of Tyson 2.0, explained. “Now, residents of the Magnolia State can relish the sophisticated flavors of ‘Knockout OG’ and ‘Pound for Pound Cake,’ with more to come in our continuous quest to deliver the finest cannabis in the industry.”

Established in October 2021, Tyson 2.0 has quickly become a major producer of cannabis, branded accessories, and other products that are available at more than 100,000 retail outlets that span 17 countries.

“This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing the highest-quality cannabis experiences in the state,” Stan Martin, co-founder and director of Southern Sky Brands, stated. “We look forward to rolling out more exceptional strains, keeping pace with our shared vision of making premium cannabis accessible to all.”

In late July, the Canton-based Southern Sky Brands also announced plans to collaborate with Cheech and Chong’s Cannabis Co. in an effort to bring more medical marijuana products to Mississippi.

“We believe in the power of medical cannabis to provide relief and promote wellness,” Cheech Marin, co-founder of Cheech and Chong’s Cannabis Co., said. “Through this partnership, we are dedicated to delivering innovative products and patient-centric care to the people of Mississippi. Together, we can break down barriers and reduce stigma surrounding medical cannabis.”
