There’s a lot for families to see and do at this weekend’s Mississippi Ag and Outdoor Expo. A Big Buck Contest, the Fetch-N-Fish High Flying Dogs and a concert Saturday night that will feature two of Mississippi’s own. MS Agriculture and Commerce Secretary Andy Gipson spent some time on The Gallo Show on SuperTalk Mississippi to share his excitement about the event. There’s certainly a lot more to it than hunting and fishing.
“The Ag Department is all about genuine Mississippi,” Gipson said. “We want to support genuine Mississippi products, services and people.” The Expo starts at noon Friday and runs through Sunday at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds.

There’s a concert Saturday night with some artists you’ll probably recognize. Canton native Hannah Everhart–fresh from a stint on American Idol–has just released an album of covers.
Hannah’s quite a character. From the out of the blue way she ended up auditioning for the show to her desire for a new truck, she didn’t hold back during a visit with Paul Gallo Wednesday.

Hattiesburg native Adam Doleac has already found gold in the song “Famous”. He’s written with big names like Darius Rucker and Kane Brown.
