Mississippi Aquarium’s (MSAQ) second annual two-day Boo at MSAQ event will be held this weekend, featuring a full schedule of Halloween-themed festivities.
Activities including an underwater pumpkin carving, a photo op with Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, trick-or-treating, and more will be available for attendees to participate in.
The aquarium will also host two special presentations called River Monsters and More Tall Tails and Feeling Batty from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Other Halloween-themed events including the Halloween Croc-Quest, Aqua Kids Post, and Draw Alive will be available for attendees to participate in all day.

- 10:00 a.m. – Gator Ghouls – Alligator Habitat
- 11:15 a.m. – Aviary Chat/Feed
- 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Hissing Prints – A Photo Op with Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches!
- 11:45 a.m. – Otter Chat
- 12:30 p.m. – Dolphin Presentation
- 1:30 p.m. – Gator Ghouls – Alligator Habitat
- 2:00 p.m. – Underwater Pumpkin Carving – Big Window
- 3:00 p.m. – Shadows in the Night – Aviary
- 3:15-3:45 p.m. – Hissing Prints – A Photo Op with Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches!
- 3:30 p.m. – Creepy Crawly Bottom Dwellers – 3rd floor
Trick-or-treating will be held outside in 30-minute increments throughout the weekend.
