Hundreds of anglers will converge in Biloxi for the nationally broadcasted 27th annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic.

From June 5-11, vessels will ply the billfish-rich waters off the coast to compete for over $2 million in cash and prizes. The weeklong event will feature nightly dock parties, a captains’ banquet, a golf outing, and live entertainment for the spectators at the weigh scales Friday and Saturday evenings.

In addition, CBS Sports will be broadcasting a portion of the tournament for a national audience to spectate from the comforts of their homes. The competition will be televised on Thursday, June 8 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. CT, Friday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. CT, and Saturday from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. CT.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic is widely known as the premier billfish tournament event in the entire Gulf of Mexico. The event is popular for its offshore bite, record-breaking fish, millions in cash payouts, exciting atmosphere, and high-energy gaming and entertainment at the Golden Nugget Casino and Hotel in Biloxi.
